UNICO® is a soft open-cell foam 5 mm thick which has been impregnated with VCI. Thanks to its cellular structure it has a very large diffusing surface area which means that the VCIs rapidly reach saturation point within the packaging.
UNICO® foam can be used as a VCI booster in very voluminous film packages. UNICO® foam is available in rolls or sheets. It is odour-free, dry and resistant to ageing.
If you wish to attach it to walls or lids Excor-Zerust can supply the product fitted with a self-adhesive strip.
Zerust® ActivPak® packets offer a new technology of Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors combined with Volatile Flash Corrosion Inhibitors (FCI™) to protect ferrous, non-ferrous and aluminum metals in closed spaces.
This combination of inhibitors assures immediate anticorrosion protection of the goods (standard VCI needs tens of minutes to be fully active while FCI is active within minutes).
EXCOR® EMIBO® Capsules can be used as VCI diffusers in cavities in transport and storage packages. The simple dosing and ease of handling makes them ideal for users' individual container systems; spent diffusers are simply replaced by new ones. If used according to the instructions, EXCOR® EMIBO® VCI diffusers provide corrosion protection for up to 15 years.
If the packaging is re-used, the capsules can be replaced as and when the circumstances of your product cycle allow. Excor-Zerust will be glad to offer advice on suitable replacement intervals. On request we can provide EMIBO® capsules fitted with self-adhesive strips or Velcro to allow them to be attached to the packaging.

Capsules contain proprietary chemical system, which emits an invisible, odorless, non-toxic vapor that diffuses throughout an enclosure. Before using of the capsules it’s necessary to calculate the volume of the space to be protected and the exact amount of capsules needed.

Zerust® Z-PAK® VCI diffuser packets emit a specially formulated VCI chemistry that quickly saturates and lands on metal surfaces located in the enclosure/packaging with the Z-PAK®. This molecular thin, temporary layer of VCI chemistry protects the metal surfaces from corrosion.
UNICO® is a flexible, open-cell foam. In sealed packaging it ensures the rapid build-up of the Zerust®Excor® VCI substances.
